Verifier

One of the three people you trust to confirm, after you're gone, that it's really true.

What a Verifier Does

After a long silence they're asked to confirm your passing. Delivery needs two of your three verifiers to agree — never one alone, and never us.

• They hold one encrypted fragment of the key; alone it unlocks nothing.
• They never see the contents of your messages.
• Every action they take is emailed to you, so you'd notice immediately.

Their Status

Invited means they've been emailed but haven't accepted yet. Active means they're ready. If someone declines, add a replacement so you always have three.

Removing a Verifier

They'll no longer be able to confirm anything. Add someone else soon — the two-of-three protection needs all three seats filled.
